My Journal

Growing up I used to not like thunderstorms. They usually meant that I couldn't go play outside. In the days before social media, not being able to go hang out with your friends outside was a big deal lol. But as I sit down at my desk now to write this, I listen to the pitter patter of the thunderous rain outside my window and can't help but to feel an overwhelming sense of ease. I don't feel like I have to drown out the sounds of the world anymore with music, videos, distractions, etc... anymore. I can just sit and create in "silence". It's a beautiful sound. A beautiful moment.
